SAS/ASSIST software is a menu-driven, task-oriented interfaces to the SAS System. For more about ASSIST use the Help system from within SAS as follows: After starting SAS click on Help and then SAS System Help. Select Getting Started with SAS Software and then Getting Started with SAS/ASSIST software.
