Ginny received her doctorate in Biostatistics in 1992 and became the Director of the Survey Research Center in 1993. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and is responsible for teaching sampling and other statistical methods courses. Her research was in survey sampling focusing on the determination of cost-efficient survey designs. She is responsible for determination of sample size to meet the precision desired in the study objectives. She also recommends the statistical analyses to meet the survey objectives. She supervises all funded projects and is responsible for the preparation of the final study report. Her current research interests are in nonsampling errors, primarily in researching methods to reduce and adjust for nonresponse errors.



Lydia Newton

Lydia began working for the Survey Research Center in April of 1999 after completing an Integrated Master's degree in Economics, Geography and Rangeland Resources. Lydia is responsible for the design, implementation and data collection of all SRC funded projects. She will be happy to meet with faculty, staff or students and give advice on questionnaire construction, survey implementation and data input. Lydia also teaches ST 439/539 (Survey Methods) during summer sessions.


Dr. Robert G. Mason
Study Director

Bob is an Emeritus Faculty in the Department of Statistics. He has been involved in survey research since the late 1960's and helped initiate the development of the Survey Research Center in 1973. Bob is still actively involved in survey research and participates in national meetings. He provides advice on questionnaire design and strategies for most current SRC projects.


Pamela K. Bodenroeder
Survey Consultant

Pam recently retired after working for the past 30 years at the SRC in questionnaire development and data management. She still remains active in the SRC through her consulting in questionnaire design and survey handling.


Connie Caranto
Administrative Manager

Connie maintains the financial records for the SRC. She closely manages all charges to the various SRC projects and reviews interagency agreements. Connie has been working as Administrative Manager for the University since 1994 and began working with the SRC and the Statistics Department in June of 1999.


Daniel Yang
Program and Data Analyst

Dan is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Statistics. He is completing his doctoral course work and is currently evaluating research topics.


Clif Johnson
OSU College of Science

Clif is responsible for programming web surveys for the SRC.
